When you create an account, we collect the email or social account you verify with, and whatever profile information you choose to add — name, bio, photos, credentials, pricing, availability, and contact details. If you sign in with Google or a social account, we receive the email associated with that account to link it to your Coachify profile.
When you use the map, we may ask for your device's location to center the map near you — this is only used in your browser/app to find nearby coaches and businesses, and is never stored on our servers or shown to anyone else.
Coachify gives you control over what's public. Your privacy settings let you separately control the visibility of your contact info, pricing, credentials, and reviews. Location precision is your choice: an exact pin, a general city-level area, or online-only with no location shown at all. Youth profiles are always restricted to general-area location, regardless of this setting.
Whatever you choose to make visible is shown to any visitor browsing the map — Coachify is a public directory, not a private messaging app.
We use your information to operate the directory (showing your profile to relevant searches), to send account-related email (sign-in links, notifications about messages, reviews, or connection requests), and to enforce these policies (for example, checking that a review isn't spam before it publishes).
Coachify is built on a small number of infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf: Supabase (account authentication and our database), Amazon S3 (photo storage), Resend (transactional email), and Vercel (hosting and basic, aggregate site analytics). None of these providers use your data for their own purposes — they process it only to provide the service to us.
If you connect your Coachify profile to a CoachifyUSA account, information necessary to make that connection (such as your profile link) is shared between the two. CoachifyUSA has its own privacy policy covering payment and booking data, since that processing happens on their side, not Coachify's.
Coachify supports guardian-managed profiles for minors, created and controlled entirely by a parent or guardian. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from a child independent of a guardian's account. Youth profiles never display exact location or precise age.
You can update or delete your profile information at any time from your dashboard. You can change your privacy settings at any time — changes apply immediately to what visitors see. To delete your account entirely, go to the Support tab in your dashboard (in the app or on the web) and choose "Delete my account" — this permanently removes your profile, reviews, connections, and sign-in, and can't be undone.
We may update this policy as the platform changes. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date above.
